Your TURKS & CAICOS EXPLORER dive package includes: all meals, great snacks, free soft drinks & free alcoholic beverages + up to 5 guided dives per day + 1 night dive each evening when weather & currents permit + extremely comfy cabins. In recent months, the owners of Turks & Caicos Explorer completed a substantial remodeling & upgrading project, making this dive vessel a sparkling specimen of a live-aboard. Nothing has been left to chance on TURKS & CAICOS EXPLORER . You'll love the pure creature comforts & gracious onboard amenities on this live-aboard. What's more, you'll enjoy the fun & easygoing spirit of this dive vessel company. The owner, a congenial Wyoming rancher named Clay McCardell, & his small capable staff are some of the most gracious & intelligent professionals we've ever had the pleasure to work with in more than a decade in this live-aboard industry.
Their good-natured spirit emanates from the top down in the TURKS & CAICOS EXPLORER organization. That vibe rubs off not only on the crew, a well-seasoned bunch who have been together for some time, but also on the scuba diving guests. Simple formula for success. It's just plain fun to dive with folks who like their jobs. Especially when the prices is right like this -- a full $400 to $600 per client per week below the median rate of their Caribbean competition. It's an astonishing value, & Clay has been doing this with his fleet since the early 1990s, year after year. Stellar service, rock-bottom prices, full boats.
U.S. Dive Travel believes the T & C Explorer is one of the best-value live-aboard diving yachts in the Eastern Caribbean. This dive vessel is 106' long & 21' in beam. She carries only 16 guests max, with a crew of 6, so the dive deck never feels like a Caribbean cattle boat. The dive vacation cruises start in beautiful Providenciales island then moves to West Caicos, & the routing is dependent upon variable winds, weather & local ocean currents. As do the owners of U.S. Dive Travel, our partners at Turks & Caicos Explorer focus keenly on client safety & comfort, with special emphasis on scuba diving safety at all times. The T & C Explorer caters to underwater photo buffs & has full E-6 slide processing on board, plus a sun deck, entertainment center, 4 life rafts, a chase boat, & world-class staterooms. If the Turks & Caicos Explorer owners have left anything to chance here, it's only the weather & ocean currents. And even with those variables, they have sussed them out quite handily.
You'll love diving the walls, reefs, offshore shelves & pinnacles of these Caribbean islands -- at the extreme southern tip of the Bahamas archipelago -- which on good days are teeming with corals & scores of colorful species of marine life in all shapes & hues. The diving in this sector of the Eastern Caribbean is a little more advanced than what you'd find in Grand Cayman or the Honduras Bay Islands, for example. Provo diving is generally a tad deeper than Belize or Honduras diving, because of the life-rich walls just begging to be drifted & explored. Currents at some of the pinnacles can require a bit more athletic diving than some other classic Caribbean diving islands offer. So we recommend this for Provo diving clients: if you haven't been scuba diving for a year or more, please do yourself a favor & take a simple, cheap refresher course to get your skills back up to snuff. It's not difficult to dive from Turks & Caicos Explorer; you'll do fine. But it's best to be prepared. That goes for all quality diving live-aboards such as the Turks & Caicos Explorer.
We're pleased to observe again that all standard Turks & Caicos Explorer vacations treat you to at least 5 dives a day plus an additional night dive each evening, if you wish, & if the skipper deems the evening weather to be safe for night dives. Few Caribbean live-aboards offer such a generous platter of underwater adventure at such an outstanding price. Provo diving & Caribbean live-aboards never have been the same since the Turks & Caicos Explorer, an Explorer Ventures vessel, set the highest of standard syears ago. You'll get to see dramatic Caribbean dropoffs teeming with pelagic fish, exciting offshore pinnacles, too, which give you some electric deep diving with the big critters. You'll see gorgeous overhanging reefs, tunnels & marine life of every description.
There is much more to good Caribbean live-aboards than just the scuba diving part, of course. The topside scenery on Provo is nearly as nice. For example, there's one stretch of more than nine miles of perfect white sandy beach, with very few buildings or homes of any sort -- one of the most beautiful trackless beaches in the entire Caribbean. Turks & Caicos Explorer is a great live-aboard vessel to help you get away from the throngs of tourists who descend on the more glitzy schmaltzy sectors of the Caribbean every high season. Don't worry, even though Provo has a small casino & a few nightclubs, it's no Jamaica or Roatan, no Cancun or Cozumel. Give the sleek & sporty Turks & Caicos Explorer a whirl. You'll have one fine live-aboard dive vacation to remember for many years to come.

IMPORTANT REMINDER about PRICES & TARIFFS:
All dive package prices listed here are subject to possible change in this steadily evolving travel market. Lodging, side tour & diving prices are traditionally stable, as are live-aboard package prices; however air prices can fluctuate daily. Until air tickets are issued, all airlines reserve the right to change airfares without notice -- an industry standard per FAA rules. We at U.S. Dive Travel will price-protect you to the utmost of our professional ability; & that has been our pledge for one decade now. Our tropical vacation experts normally secure excellent wholesale discount air tickets for our clients who book early enough to secure limited seats in the best price categories. Remember please, the federal government has deregulated all U.S.-based airlines, so only they control their pricing -- not any travel professionals. Early is good when seeking the best air ticket rates.
Unless specifically noted, these above scuba diving packages are prices for only the live-aboard portion of your dive trip, in most cases reflecting double-occupancy rooms. On most live-aboards, there will be no triple-occupancy staterooms offered. International air tickets & commuter "island-hopper" seats are always extra above these land costs. Nominal service fees are also extra for air tickets & the dive vessel + side tour components. The baseline tariffs for all clients start at $45 per person for the vessel portion + $35 pp for the air tickets. Late-booking clients may receive slightly higher tariffs on the lodging + diving at many of our dive resorts. Solo clients will always pay a single supplement to secure a private stateroom -- normally 65% more than the standard double-occupancy rate for the live-aboard of your choice.
The preferred payment mode for all of our live-aboards, dive resorts, side tours & air ticket specials is by cashier's check or wire transfer in U.S. dollars. All clients living outside the USA or Canada will need to pay for their dive vacations via direct wire transfer only. No personal checks or credit cards will be accepted for the live-aboard or land portion of any reservation. Thank you for your gracious understanding. Our service level is the highest & our prices the lowest in this industry, & thus we need to preserve a reasonable margin. For published-fare air ticket bookings, USDT always readily accepts Visa & Mastercard. For ultra-discount wholesale air tickets, USDT accepts only cashier's checks or wire transfers, please.
